A BRIDGE TO NORMAL LIVING
FROM DETOX TO RECOVERY CENTRAL
Changing Pain Into Purpose
The success of our approach is in our understanding that recovery is much wider than just substance use treatment alone. In order to sustain long term recovery people need a wide range of support that includes safe housing and opportunities for work/training and meaningful activity. As such Changes UK’s approach to treatment recognises that:
- Addiction is often a response to difficult life experiences
- Addiction often means that people have multiple complex needs in terms of health (both physical and mental), employment, homelessness and offending.
- Peer support is vital to the recovery process
- Recovery takes time and is a process that cannot be achieved alone.
We have been helping people recover for over a decade, our vision remains the same, to restore dignity and hope to those and their families that are affected by addiction.
To ensure that no one is suffering alone without knowing that they are entitled to a life with love and purpose.
Values
We are a values driven organisation, our values underpin our service delivery, staff and stakeholder relationships and our commitment to place those we support at the centre of all we do.
