Changes UK wins this year’s Social Enterprise West Midlands (SEWM) Award for SE People – a fabulous organisation that contributes to the community
SEWM is the leading business network and consultancy for social enterprise in the West Midlands and the fifth annual awards took place this year at The University of Birmingham. An independent panel, including the award sponsor Big Society Capital and key stakeholders working within the social enterprise sector, voted Changes UK as this year’s winner in response to the impact that this fabulous organisation has had on the recovery community in Birmingham.
Changes UK was also Highly Commended for SE Profit – a social enterprise with a commitment to grow. This award, sponsored by UnLtd, was in recognition for this fabulous organisation’s growth and ambitious plans for further growth.

Changes UK is this year’s Runner-Up of the Everyday Impact Award – Long Term
The Directory of Social Change (DSC) is an independent charity with a vision of an independent voluntary sector at the heart of social change. They believe that society can be changed for the better when citizens take responsibility for themselves, their communities and each other.
The Social Change Awards are hosted by DSC to celebrate and recognise the achievements of all the fantastic social change makers in the voluntary sector. For the ninth Social Change Awards, the DSC received around 150 nominations and almost 3,000 public votes.
