The Changes UK Black Tie event The Fire and Ice Ball is set to become one of Birmingham’s most exclusive charity events, attracting influential guests to enjoy an evening of dining, hospitality, A-List entertainment and life-changing fundraising.
The glamorous evening includes celebrity Meet and Greets, a VIP champagne reception, fine cuisine and a charity auction with ‘money can’t buy’ prizes.

RUSSELL BRAND
Award-winning comedian, writer, actor, presenter and CHANGES UK PATRON, RUSSELL BRAND, is to take to the stage at the Fire and Ice Ball, Birmingham’s exclusive charity event.
Russell is one of the most recognised and best-loved comedy performers in the world, and he has made no secret of his battle with alcohol and drug addiction. A story of recovery and hope, of failure to success and of rags to riches, Russell is proud to be joining us to share his journey:
“It’s an honour to be asked to speak at the Fire and Ice Ball for Changes UK’s ten year anniversary. This is such an incredible cause, one which continues to save and transform lives. Steve and his fantastic team remain close to my heart, as they have since the day we met, and I stand proud as their charity’s Patron. It’s crucial that we raise funds to ensure that their work continues for another decade and more.”
JOHN TAYLOR AND ROGER TAYLOR
Founding members of international supergroup Duran Duran, John and Roger are also both Birmingham natives and passionate ambassadors for Changes UK.
Both have been sober for some time now and are advocates for recovery and the 12 step program of AA.
They are currently working on a new Duran Duran album which they hope to release next year, to celebrate the band’s 40th anniversary.
John said: “As always we are proud to support Changes UK and the work they do for people in recovery, as well as for their families. We look forward to celebrating ten years of Changes and helping to raise funds to ensure they are around for the next ten! See you on the 14th December.”
