6 – RESEARCH FACULTY

Changes is keen to work with academic institutions and others in order to inform and increase academic research available relating to abstinent based recovery. We are also keen to work in partnership with external agencies in order to continue the independent evaluation of our services.

  • John Moores University is calculating the Social Return on Investment of our Recovery Academy.
  • Birmingham University is looking at how service users access our services and how this changes throughout their recovery journey.
  • A Social Policy student, on placement from the City of Birmingham University (informed by detailed service user feedback), is helping us to evaluate all of our services to see how changes to national social policy could impact on our service users and the wider recovery community.

With us, people in recovery...
