Job Title: Social Enterprise Manager
Location: Recovery Central, 9 Allcock Street, Digbeth, Birmingham B9 4DY
Salary: £30,000 per annum pro-rata
Hours: Permanent/Full Time
Accountable to: Chief Executive
Deadline: 30th September at 5pm

 

Job Summary:

Are you interested in helping us develop a number of brand new social enterprise businesses in the heart of the Digbeth Social Enterprise Quarter in Birmingham?

Would you like to be part of a team that empowers people to explore their dreams and aspirations and support them to bring these to reality by helping them build their own enterprises?

You will have the opportunity to shape and develop these new enterprises from scratch, supporting our ambition to put the Changes UK brand firmly on the Social Enterprise map with businesses and services that continue to provide high quality services to the local community at affordable prices?

The long-term aim of this role will be to maximize the commercial potential of Recovery Central as:
A hub of creative social enterprise activity, where the recovery community develops services, products and businesses to serve the community

To develop and increase turnover/profit for:
Our Changes Gardening enterprise
Our Small Changes retail enterprise/s
Our Conference Centre, including hospitality and banqueting facilities

The SE Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development of new and existing social enterprises, the surpluses of which will be returned to Changes UK to finance the delivery of its care services, supporting people in abstinence-based recovery from addiction.
